Getting Started

Yay! After talking about opening a website for several years, I've finally done it.

As you can see from the navigation menu, I plan to put up a lot of content that interests me. To that end, I've actually started two simultaneous blogs -- one for scientific content that interests me, and another that will be a "personal" blog.

The scientific blog will cover breaking science news and technologies. It will (of course) be skewed toward my interests in robotics, ubiquitous computing, MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems), electronics, renewable energy, and many other diverse scientific topics.

The "personal" blog will be things friends, family, and acquaintances might like to know. Basically, it will contain accounts, pictures, and commentary about how my life is progressing.

The layout, theme, and content will be changing frequently over the coming weeks, so don't get discouraged and be sure to check back frequently. Expect a lot of great stuff in the future.

NOTE:  This post originally appeared on Hizook.com, which has been transformed into a robotics-centric website.  To preserve all of my original posts, I've transferred the content to my new homepage TravisDeyle.com.  I also encourage you to scope out the new Hizook!
